  1. Looks good! Almost makes me want to run away and be adopted by you. ;o)

I cook like I write – with a little planning and a lot of ‘by the seat of my pants’. It would probably be nice to know ahead of time what I’m going to make, but then again, I’d probably get feisty and strain against the bonds. “Menu says chicken tonight? You’re not the boss of me.” ;o)

I am moving in Maria, Yum!
We love homemade Pancakes, Tuna Sandwiches, Omelets of any kind and I have enjoyed Poached Eggs since childhood but sure wish my Husband liked them too but his favorite eggs are sunny side up with runny yolks and I have to have mine well cooked.

Nice menu we kind of wing it with a vague idea on my part what we will eat all week according to what is in the pantry, freezer and fridge which actually works for us as no picky eaters in our house.

  3. Whoa. You did all three meals. I never planned more than dinners. But you’ve allowed for leftover steak and not leftover pasta. That’s not the way it would work in this house. *grin*

  4. Yum. I want to come to your house for dinner!

I plan about three days’ meals at a time; my guy is very fussy and a big mind-changer, too. He takes me out to dinner once a week so I only have to hit the grocery store twice to keep up.

Tonight I’m making chicken, rice and salsa ala Chipotle’s burrito bowls. We decided after all the e-coli problems they’re having to start making our own (and it’s a lot cheaper.) I’m still tweaking the homemade version but it’s pretty close.

  5. I’ve been on the road all weekend, but I’m finally back! Wait until I report what I’d been up to. :)

  6. BE: People who know me well, know not to be adopted by me. LOL! I’m kind of a slave driver. Fortunately, I have Greg by contract so he can’t escape.

  7. Jackie: I try to make pancakes once a week. Because it’s just the two of us, there’s enough for a second serving, plus dog treats for good dogs. hmm…I wonder where I can find good dogs. :)

  8. Linda: If Greg had his way there would never be leftover steak. I divide the steak before it gets on his plate so he’s not tempted. :)

  9. Lynn: Drives me insane when Greg changes his mind about dinner. It’s silly really, since he’ll eat whatever I put in front of him. The trick is not giving him a choice.

I’ve never tried doing a copycat recipe of Chipotle’s bowl. I should try it. It’s one of our favorite ‘going out’ meals.
