Home Hacks, Hits and Misses

A couple of these hacks seem unethical to me, but the others are pretty good. What do you think?

Unethical? The first one is basically telling you to STEAL! Of course your receipt would show you got one for free and without a receipt, you’d most likely only get back whatever the lowest price it sold for (50% off, most likely). Still… why would someone SUGGEST doing that? Makes me wonder about people.

Okay, rant over. See what you started? Haha! 😀

    • Stacy: No argument here. I did say it was hit and miss, didn’t I?

I don’t see how in this day of computers that you can even take something back. It always knows.

  2. Hmmm. I agree that some are unethical, and that one cure for boredom at the end is a bit repulsive. I’m feeling smug over the chocolate milk versus energy drinks; that’s one of my own life hacks.

I definitely have to check out the ingredients in the fridge = recipes web site. That seems like a lifesaver. 🙂

    • Lynn: I love chocolate milk but I can’t drink much of it. My favorite hack was the ingredients web site.

      re: boredom hack
I can’t remember the last time I was bored.

There are technical problems in my case but I quite like number 10 🙂

  4. The one about setting back the date on your computer definitely unethical; the text saying “I’m pregnant” could be a heart stopper for just a minute until someone would text back and ask “who is this?” type thing. I do like the practical advice of some of them like drinking a big glass of water if randomly searching for food in the fridge.
